So Wayne and I are in in this show – La Cage Aux Folles – playing at the HART Theatre in Haywood County, NC.
And because my mother taught me to sew at a young age I am the one the “Cagelles” (chorus girls – varying genders) come to when costumes need to be repaired.
When I pulled out Phaedra’s torn bird costume this morning I was an instant celebrity with my twin girls. It would not have been more exciting if I had been invited onto the Oprah show.
Holly & Jasmine were so anxious to be allowed to try on the costume once it was fixed that they gladly vacuumed and folded washing while they waited (yes – I am a lucky mother!).
